THE Orange Oil ORACLE CARD || THE MODERN GODDESS ORACLE DECK

Be resilient.

Orange oil is used frequently in aromatherapy for helping to ease tension, stress, insomnia, and fluid retention. It smells absolutely fantastic, like a sweet summer night. In magic, this lively oil is used to conjure up feelings of positivity, optimism, and rock-solid resilience.

If the Orange Oil card appears in your spread, you might be feeling like all your hard work has yet to yield the results you’ve been hoping for. Take heart, Goddess. The Orange Oil card is an encouragement to find peace and contentment even when your progress feels like it’s at a standstill.

You can’t see everything that’s energetically going on around you. Things are not as they seem. You are making huge leaps forward even though it feels as if you’re standing still. Tap into your sunny optimism and resilience. If you can make it through this, you can make it through anything.

Though you can’t see it, the reward you’re craving is within reach. This time of seemingly zero progress is actually the final stage before a breakthrough.

Practical Magic for the Modern Goddess

Diffuse orange oil with a cauldron of water warmed with a tea light or with a traditional essential oil diffuser.

When diffusing this oil, it pairs well with cinnamon, lavender, jasmine, and ginger oils.

For magic, mix a couple drops of orange oil with a carrier oil (like almond oil) and use a cloth to anoint your spell or meditation candles. Start at the bottom of the candle and move upward in a spiral ending right near the wick. (Some people prefer to anoint their candles from top to bottom, but I find the upward motion incredibly energizing.) Orange oil will support a variety of intentions by adding an extra ounce of resilience. Use it with your goal-setting, abundance, manifesting, success, and confidence intentions.

Note: Orange oil can be harmful if it gets on your skin. Some oils should not be used around pregnant women or people with other health conditions, so check with a doctor before using essential oils. Be aware that any oils can trigger allergic reactions.
