June Mead Moon || Waning Moon Tarot Reading + Ritual
Here is a waning moon magical card reading ritual that will allow you to tap into the wisdom of your intuition to discover what you need to release during the June Mead Waning moon. This ritual will take about 5-10 minutes. It’s best done first thing in the morning, or right before you go to bed. If possible, sit by a window or outside as you do this ritual. Light a tea light to create a sacred space, or perform a simple white light meditation.
Directions for a White Light Meditation
(To create a sacred space for magic and meditation, or to cleanse a space.)
Close your eyes and listen to your breath. Notice your inhales and exhales, notice the stability of the earth underneath you. When you feel grounded, visualize a white light moving down from the sky. This is the cleansing white light of the universe. Allow it to wash over you and float into the space around you. Let it fill the whole space. As it fills the space, it will gently guide the negative or unwanted energy away from you. I recommend doing this meditation for at least a couple minutes, but feel free to go longer or shorter as you feel guided. When you feel like you’ve done the job, open your eyes.

Step One: Set your intention. Ask your intuition, higher power, or the moon what you need to release during this waning moon.
Step Two: Choose a number—One, Two, or Three.
Step Three: Click on the button with the corresponding number.
Step Four: Read the two keywords and take a moment to be still. Think about the two words, and journal about any messages, thoughts or feelings that come up. Notice what your very first thoughts are after reading the words.
Step Five: Look over what you’ve written and decide what energy you’d like to release during this waning moon.
Magical Note: Smoky quartz or black tourmaline crystals are excellent for releasing unwanted energy. Place one on your altar during the waning moon phase or hold one in your left hand as you gaze up at the waning moon. Black, violet or navy candles can also help release unwanted energy.
